The Mount of Vision
Do
we, when pressed on every side
And harassed by the daily round,
Remember him at eventide
Who holy inspiration found?
The multitudes had thronged all day,
Their many needs were freely met,
And then he sought the mount, to pray
At even, when the sun was set.
His work is ours, to mirror forth
The glory of the Father's love;
May we with him see man's true worth
Revealed upon the mount above.
