After
a very busy day with work which extended well into the night, a Christian Science practitioner received by telephone in the early morning an urgent call for help, coupled with a request for the practitioner's presence.
"Mind
creates His own likeness in ideas, and the substance of an idea is very far from being the supposed substance of non-intelligent matter.
To Cowper, who wrote these lines, the wonders God performs are brought about in some mysterious manner; but to the student of Christian Science, who measurably understands the intelligence and allness of divine Mind, these wonders are simply the natural manifestations of divine Principle.
In
a successful and happy, well-ordered and harmonious home each member of the family must do his part.
Obedience
, perseverance, humility, a willingness to be shown, to be guided—these traits of true discipleship have always had their reward, and in no realm of activity is this fact more apparent than in the study of Christian Science.
In
fulfilling God's law of progress, we must each day obtain a clearer apprehension of man's perfection.
Today
a great deal is being heard about interpretation in its meaning of a "turning from one language into another.

For quite some time I have been helped by the testimonies of others, but have hesitated about sending in my own.
A beautiful proof of God's guidance and protecting care demonstrated in Christian Science came under my observation a few years ago, when I had contracted to build a new home for another Christian Scientist.
When Christian Science was first presented to me, I demanded proof that it taught the truth.
Doubts and fears concerning God and life here and hereafter had been a torment to me before Christian Science came to my attention.
It is with a heart full of gratitude to God, Love, the Giver of all good, that I give this testimony.
For approximately twenty-six years I have been a student of Christian Science.
Having received the blessings of Christian Science for many years, I feel it is time I added my tithe to the great harvest of testimonies given in these periodicals.
