Assurance

"Thine is the kingdom, and Thine the power,"
Over and over again we pray.
Then off we go by ourselves to face
The fret and toil of a busy day.

"Thine is the kingdom." But where and when
If we do not claim it as we go.
And carry it in our hearts to share
With our brother man now burdened low?

"Thine is the power." There is none else
If God is All, as we have known.
Then let us live in the knowing, sure
That He will ever care for His own.
