The time has come for me to tell how grateful I am for the protection and healing I have received in Christian Science. As a child I attended the Christian Science Sunday School, and now I realize what a great blessing this was, although after I left Sunday school and went out into the world I drifted away from Science.

I recall an instantaneous healing of blood poisoning which I received through the help of a practitioner. I was also headed of the drinking habit.

In 1931 I enlisted in the Royal Navy and soon after this I had cause to return to Science in earnest, as my life seemed to be very inharmonious. I went to China, where I attended services in the Hong Kong church. On a second trip there three years later I became a member of this church and also of The Mother Church, and I was able to make progress in the study of Christian Science.
