"The beam of Truth"
It was a practice blackout. At a given signal the city became intensely dark. Suddenly out of the night a searchlight sent its powerful rays far into the sky and focused on an object which the world below recognized as a mighty Flying Fortress. As the beam of light pierced the blackness there came to a student of Christian Science these words from a well-known hymn:
"The beam of truth displaces
The darkness of the night."
