Letters to the Press from Christian Science Committees on Publication

Standard

H. Roy Conway, Committee on Publication for the Province of Quebec
Standard, Montreal

A recent issue of your valued publication contained the report of a meeting in which the following statement was made: "Practical Metaphysics is something like Christian Science, but not exactly."

In order that your readers might be under no misunderstanding, I would appreciate space in your paper to emphasize the fact that Christian Science is entirely separate from any knowledge that is based wholly or in part on a material premise. Christian Science has a divine demonstrable Principle.

Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 111), "The Principle of divine metaphysics is God; the practice of divine metaphysics is the utilization of the power of Truth over error; its rules demonstrate its Science."
