Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Grand Junction, Colorado (First Church).

Dedication of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Grand Junction, was held on Sunday, October 8, 1944, at the regular morning service.

This church was organized and incorporated on August 13, 1896. A church edifice was erected on the corner of Second Street and Rood Avenue, and was dedicated the same year. Several years later lots were purchased on the corner of Seventh Street and White Avenue. The church building was moved and various improvements were added.
