One day while I was feeling especially grateful for the testimonies I had just read in the Christian Science Sentinel, this thought came to me: If all those who have experienced healings in Science did as you have done, there would be no testimonies to read in the Sentinel; so I could no longer delay sending in my testimony. I am happy to share with others some of the good received through the study and application of the truths which Science teaches.

During childbirth I was beautifully protected from the fear of death for myself and the child. The baby was born without pain, but for forty-five minutes afterwards death tried to claim the child. Through the steadfast work of the practitioner, the nurse, and myself, life was again manifested.

One healing which has been an outstanding blessing to me through several years is that of a broken home. Many different things had to be overcome in my thought; I had to learn not to harbor hate and resentment, but to cleanse and purify my thinking, to let divine Love guide my footsteps. I was led to make a move which to all human reasoning was not the right one, but I was depending on God to guide me, and He did not fail me. I am grateful to say that this healing was complete, and I was able to look on as one reviewing a passing play, but having no part in it. The home was united, joyously for all.
