Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

West Virginia

There has been friendly cooperation by the newspapers of the state this year. Seven of the newspapers gave us space for short reports on lectures given by various churches.

Over forty editorials were based on quotations from The Christian Science Monitor. Two papers ran regular news items announcing the Committee on Publication radio programs over their local stations, and another paper published the monthly announcement of all such programs for the entire state. Many direct quotations, giving proper credit to the Monitor, were published. Nothing in the nature of a criticism of Christian Science or Mrs. Eddy was discovered in the local during the year.
