God Our Refuge

The Rev. Ernest Fremont Tittle
Michigan Christian Advocate, Adrian

It is indeed true that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. "... We are the children of God, who knows and cares for every one of us.

The servant of God is inwardly supported in all conditions. He knows that his labor is not in vain. He is working with God and not against Him. He is allowing himself to be used of God in the working out of a divine purpose that will be realized at the last. His life is not meaningless or futile. He also knows—he has daily evidence—that God is with him.... He comes to know in his heart that neither life nor death "shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
