Christian Science Committee on Publication for Worcestershire, England, Reports

Our relationship with the press continues to be satisfactory, and no corrections have been necessary during the past year. Friendly reference was made to The Christian Science Monitor in a Worcester periodical. The Worcester Evening News and Times printed a letter mentioning the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The writer stated that he had found the truth in this book. The letter directed readers to the Worcester Public Library, where a copy of the textbook could be obtained.

This Committee has addressed two meetings during the past year, both in connection with the Toe H League of Women Helpers: one at Evesham and one at Stourbridge. The meetings were we'll attended, and much interest was expressed at Evesham concerning the Wartime Activities of our church, also much approval of the very high standard of the Monitor. There was eagerness for the literature which was available, and warm thanks were expressed and a hope of a future meeting.

At Stourbridge the secretary received the Committee with much graciousness and the chairman said that for many years they had held their meetings in the same building as the local Christian Science Society, and yet, although they were so near, they felt so far, and they earnestly desired lo know something of Christian Science.
