For the joy and help received...
For the joy and help received from reading the testimonies in our periodicals, for the precious gift of Christian Science to mankind, and for its regenerating and healing effect in my own experience, I desire to express my heartfelt gratitude.
Science came to me at a time when I needed guidance and had besought God to let me know Him in His own way. My prayer was answered by an invitation to attend a Christian Science lecture in this town. The lecturer spoke of God as Mind, and during that brief hour a great light dawned in my consciousness. I knew without a shadow of doubt that I had found God. Truth, that for which my heart had hungered all my life.
On leaving the lecture hall I asked where I could get "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," the textbook of Christian Science, by Mary Baker Eddy, and was told it could be obtained at the Christian Science Reading Room.
