Perfection

Perfection or suggestion—
Which shall be real to me?
Each moment I alone must choose
Between the lie and Thee.

Perfection or suggestion—
Which shall be real to me?
The Father speaks: "Perfection is.
Be still, dear child, and see."

And then, thank God! I listen.
And hear His angels near:
"Perfection is the only real."
Nothing is left to fear.
