Christian Science Committee on Publication for Carnarvonshire, Wales, Reports
Friendly relations with the press have been maintained; editors continue to grant us space in generous measure, considering present-day restrictions. There have been no references to Christian Science needing comment or correction. Excerpts from the Lesson-Sermons are supplied weekly to three newspapers, and these are regularly printed by two, and less regularly by the third. One editor uses the "Gems of Thought" frequently. Reports of the Thanksgiving services appeared in three papers. Under the heading, "To Make World Peace Secure," a seven-inch excerpt from the report of the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church was accepted and printed in two papers. A report of the National Day of Prayer, including the statement from The Christian Science Board of Directors, was published in two papers.
Invitations to address First Church, Llandudno, and Christian Science Society, Bangor, were received. Two very happy and instructive meetings were held. The questions asked and gratitude expressed for the information that was given was clear evidence of the interest felt.
