I wish to express gratitude to God for the many healings and beneficial experiences resulting from my study and application of Christian Science. On page 66 of Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy says, "Trials are proofs of God's care." This has been proved true in my experience.

In 1934 I had a severe fall, and struck my head on a rock. Another person fell on me, his heels striking my head and face. As a result I soon began having headaches. These became increasingly severe, until one day I collapsed at my work. The doctors diagnosed the condition as an adhesion of the brain, and placed me on a heavy fat diet for six months. A chiropractor X-rayed me and found that I had a curvature of the spine and that my left leg was three quarters of an inch shorter than the right.

At the end of nine months I went back to my business, but in a few months all these troubles returned. Having a Christian Scientist in my employ, I asked her if she thought Christian Science would help me. She replied, "Certainly, if you apply it honestly."
