Albion Recorder
Albion, Michigan (First Church).
First Church of Christ, Scientist, Albion, was formally dedicated on Sunday, May 7, 1944. A brief history of the church was read at the morning and afternoon services.
The edifice, styled after the early American, southern colonial architecture, was started in September, 1941, and completed in May, 1942. This church was recognized as a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, early in the year 1896, a charter being granted under the laws of the state of Michigan on February 21, 1896. A Reading Room is maintained in the church building.—Albion Recorder.
