For many years we have received innumerable blessings from Christian Science. Our lives have lain in pleasant places because of it; and it has never failed us when it has been honestly applied.

A healing for which I have been most grateful is one of burns. Our little girl, aged one, had a cup of scalding coffee upset on her neck and arm. I telephoned a practitioner, and very shortly the child was playing happily. Within a week all signs of the burns had disappeared, and the new skin was normal.

On one occasion I was hit on the head by a golf ball, which was traveling at terrific speed. The moment it hit me, I remembered something a Christian Science lecturer had once said. I held to the thought that the real man could not be touched, and although great consternation was expressed by everyone around, I returned to the clubhouse, had dinner with friends, and suffered no ill effects.
