It is the duty and privilege of...
It is the duty and privilege of every Christian Scientist to glorify God and testify to the many blessings bounteously bestowed on him by our Father-Mother through Christian Science.
I wish to record the healing of chronic tonsillitis. This discordant condition, which appeared several times annually over a period of years, was diagnosed by a physician as one of the worst cases he had ever seen, and he declared an immediate operation was necessary.
I discussed the situation with a loved one, an active student of Christian Science, who was then reading in a branch church. She asked me if it had occurred to me that I had never received a Christian Science treatment, although I was willing that my family should receive such help. I replied that this had not occurred to me, and without further hesitation said that I would try Christian Science.
