I am glad of this opportunity to verify my wife's testimony. I am grateful also to record that some years ago Mrs. Eddy's book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," came into my possession, and I have found that it does indeed contain the Science of being, which if studied and put into practice brings health and happiness. It is, moreover, a "key" to the Scriptures, making clear much which I had previously found obscure.

I am grateful I was brought up to study and appreciate the Bible. Although orthodox church teachings gave me little satisfaction, I felt sure that healing must be possible by spiritual means, for had not the Master said, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also"?

After attending my first Christian Science service, I realized that here was the teaching which I was seeking; and when an operation for tonsils and adenoids, which the doctor desired my son to have, was avoided through the work of a Christian Science practitioner. I saw that the operation of spiritual Truth in human consciousness is all that is ever required.
