When I became interested in Christian Science about twelve years ago, it was not for healing but to find peace of mind. This peace I found and have enjoyed ever since. However, I soon had an occasion to test the healing power of Christian Science.

The difficulty of which I was healed was diagnosed as inflammatory rheumatism. It developed quickly and the suffering was almost unbearable. I finally lost all use of my body and had to be turned in my bed on a blanket and take water through a tube. It seemed that death was inevitable, but thanks to Christian Science and the work of a practitioner I was healed. The healing, which took place about ten years ago, has been permanent. Today I am well and happy.

It is also gratifying that through the study of divine Science I have been able to help others to understand more of the healing truth. I have had the privilege of serving in a Christian Science Society and am a member of The Mother Church. I am grateful for the Lesson-Sermons, the Christian Science periodicals, and every activity of our movement. To say that I am grateful for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me but mildly expresses my sentiments.
