It
matters not whether one lives in the remotest part of the world or has his abode within a stone's throw of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, each member thereof has a definite responsibility.
If
someone said to you, "I know where there is hidden treasure which can easily be unearthed," would you not, having confirmed the facts, go to great lengths to get that treasure, if you knew that when you found it, it would be rightfully yours?
Preparation
for a lecture on Christian Science is a joyous task for those whose privilege it is to extend this hospitality to their community.
Young
people graduating from schools and colleges to take their places in a world where fear, confusion, and hatred hold sway, and where war is fiercely raging on many fronts, may be tempted to accept the mesmerism of worldly beliefs and question despairingly: Why were we born at this time?

the Christian calendar points to the eleventh of November, what memories are stirred with those who passed through the troublous days of the first World War! The news of the signing of an armistice in 1918 was received with a jubilation bordering on hysteria by war-weary peoples the world over.

As a progressive step in the radiocasting of Christian Science programs, beginning Saturday, November 4, 1944, weekly programs, prepared in The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, under the direction of The Christian Science Board of Directors, will be put on the air by approximately sixty-four radio stations throughout the United States.
At the morning and evening services held on Sunday, June 4, 1944, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Elm Park Road, was dedicated.

For several years I have desired to testify to the many healings we have had through the study of Christian Science.
When I became interested in Christian Science about twelve years ago, it was not for healing but to find peace of mind.
Christian Science has been a wonderful help to me during the past fifteen years, and I should like to relate one or two healings which I have had, in the hope that others may derive similar benefits.
For many years there has come to me, as a student of Christian Science, an abundance of blessings for which I am sincerely grateful to God.
I am grateful for Christian Science and for what it is teaching me about my true selfhood, as an idea of God.
Christian Science was first presented to me by a dear friend when I was worried and unhappy.
Paul said, "Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
At the time Christian Science was accepted by me I was profane vulgar, extremely critical, and flippant in my speech.
I prayed
that God would teach me how to pray—To open wide my eyes that I might seeThe full intent of what the Master soughtAlone with God in deep humility.
