A Prayer
For
this I strive: more wisdom to attain,
The wisdom born of Love and Mind, which makes
One able lovingly to guide; to gain
More tenderness of heart, for this it takes
To comfort them that mourn, that hold as real
Their past mistakes or sigh for other years.
Aware His is the power to save and heal,
With Christlike love I'd help to banish fears.
