Christian Science has been a wonderful help to me during the past fifteen years, and I should like to relate one or two healings which I have had, in the hope that others may derive similar benefits.

The first outstanding healing which I had, occurred about three years ago. For a number of years I had been subject to periodic fainting spells. I had tried to overcome the difficulty myself, but without success. Help was then sought from a Christian Science practitioner, and within a week the difficulty disappeared. About a year later, fear arose that the trouble might recur, but I am glad to say that, through the affirmation of the truth that a Christian Science healing is permanent, the fear was soon quelled, and I have had no return of the trouble. On this occasion, Mrs. Eddy's words from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," were most helpful (p. 392), "The physical affirmation of disease should always be met with the mental negation."

A number of years ago, with the help of a practitioner, I was quickly relieved of pain caused by a swollen gum, and more recently the truth in the words from Science and Health (p. 463), "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive." healed another gum trouble.
