While I was still a child, my family became actively interested in Christian Science and found it to be the Comforter promised by the Master. Patient Christian Science relatives supported our infant understanding, insisting that we strive to prove what we learned. As we grew, practitioners helped us and taught us how to help ourselves. Our entire outlook became happier and healthier. I am grateful that my husband, also, is a Christian Scientist.
During the cool months, I used to expect and experience colds almost perpetually, but now I scarcely ever have one. I had the help of Christian Science practitioners at the birth of all my children, who have profited by this truth, and are exceptionally healthy.
I was permanently healed of stomach trouble when I was about fifteen. Attacks of sore throat, which used to be severe and frequent, have not troubled me for years.
