Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

La Crosse Tribune

La Crosse, Wisconsin (First Church).

First Church of Christ, Scientist, La Crosse, held two dedication services, one in the morning; and the other in the evening, on Sunday, September 12, 1943.

The church was built in 1922, and was completed seven years later. On May 11, 1943, officials said a gift was received from the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy which enabled the church to pay off the obligations incurred through the erection of the building.
