Christian Science Society, Madison, dedicated its new church home on Sunday, August 15, 1943. A history, read from the desk, follows in part:

"The first step in the history of the society was taken when, in 1913, a few Christian Scientists met in the home of one of their number to hold services regularly, for the study of Christian Science. Meetings were held in private homes until 1915, when a Christian Science Society was organized. After this, services were held and a Reading Room was opened in the Odd Fellows Building.
