For some time now I have been desirous of contributing my testimony in grateful recognition of all that Christian Science has done for me. For many years I have proved its efficacy, and I often wonder how I should live without it. I should like to relate one healing in particular.

About three years ago I was stricken with very severe pains in the abdomen. They were so severe that after one of the attacks I lost consciousness. Since my husband is not a Christian Scientist, a physician was called to diagnose the case. The doctor came, and after examination said that there was a false conception in the Fallopian tube, and that an immediate operation was necessary. He urged my removal to the hospital at once. I knew that my only course was to leave the matter in God's hands, and I was grateful that my husband did not insist upon medical attention, although he was very fearful.

A practitioner, who had been my Sunday school teacher, took up the work immediately, and as a result of her loving work, sometimes day and night, the fear in my own consciousness was gradually dispelled, healing took place, and the erroneous condition was removed without an operation.
