The Hope-filled Future
Despite the tragedies of a global war, the loss of millions of mortals, the almost unbearable burdens imposed on millions of others, and the disarrangement of the life plans of a vast multitude, the future is bright with promise, filled with hope born of men's growing realization of the inevitable victory of the forces of good, God, over evil in the affairs of men.
Why is the majority of the human race willing to sacrifice lives, property, and all it holds dear to defeat in war the forces of evil and materiality? Why? Because inherent in the hearts of right-thinking men are the hope and faith that something better is ahead of us than is behind us; that forces exist which will, if we are faithful to our highest sense of right, bring us out into a better and better order of life on earth.
