[Original testimony in French]
I give this testimony with deep...
I give this testimony with deep gratitude for all the blessings that I have received over a period of about thirty years. I hope it may impart courage and confidence such as I have received in reading testimonies published in our periodicals.
Through the reading of our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and through the loving, consecrated help of faithful practitioners I have been healed of stomach trouble, influenza, acute uremia, pneumonia, pain, headaches, weakness, grief, nervousness.
On the financial side, my husband obtained remunerative positions on three occasions in an unlooked-for way, through the work of a consecrated practitioner. Since the first day of my acquanitance with Christian Science I have had splendid proofs of the infinite support of our Father-Mother God.
After my husband passed on, a very difficult situation was solved and a lawsuit that had lasted for fifteen years terminated harmoniously.
I should like to add that during the first World War my children and I were sustained and protected day after day. My husband served continuously at the front until February, 1918, and during this period was neither ill nor wounded, although on five different occasions the houses in which he was stationed were completely destroyed. Through the realization of ever-present Love he was able to protect himself and his companions during terrible bombardment.
I can truly say that in every field in which Christian Science has been applied the results have exceeded every hope.
Words but feebly express my deep gratitude. My hope is to make further progress, to gain a better understanding of Truth, to follow humbly and faithfully the narrow way which our Leader has marked out for us through her life and demonstrations and her exceeding love for humanity. My gratitude is unbounded to God for some knowledge of the truth. I am also grateful for all the faithful workers in our great Cause, who through their tireless and consecrated labors help weary and burdened humanity to find rest and peace.—(Mrs.) Emelie Charlotte Robin, Baltimore, Maryland.
