Guide Us Aright

BLANCHE HARR

O Shepherd , let me walk with Thee;
Oh, guide my steps aright!
To learn Thy way and talk with Thee
Turns darkness into light.

We thank Thee for Thy loving care,
Rely on Thee alone.
Thy presence goeth everywhere;
Thou knowest all Thine own.

We know Thou hearest before we call;
Our prayers are not in vain.
Thy love is brooding over all
Who steadfast, true remain.

Thy Word, in sacred Scripture found,
Is given for all to heed.
Thy truth, when sought on holy ground,
Will meet all human need.

Thy mighty love and liberty
Will bid all discord cease.
Let all the world look up to Thee;
Thus nations will find peace.
