After attending nearly every kind of church service, looking for a God that I could understand and turn to in everyday life, I found Christian Science, and should like to express my sincere gratitude for what it has done for me. I have experienced wonderful protection and guidance since I learned to depend upon God alone.

During the depression I was out of employment. A Christian Scientist invited me to attend a noonday testimony meeting. One testifier spoke of the way divine Love meets our needs "right now." That very afternoon I was told to come to work the next morning, and I have progressed harmoniously ever since.

At one time the car in which I was riding turned over three times, throwing me out into a snowbank. Immediately I thought, "God is my Life." I also knew I must make the people understand that I wanted a Christian Science practitioner and not a doctor. The minute the practitioner was called, I felt better; the pressure was gone, and I could speak without difficulty. I studied Mrs. Eddy's works and had help from the practitioner for a week before going back to work, and I have never enjoyed a vacation more than I enjoyed that week of study. I am most thankful to the practitioner who gave such loving help.

Before taking up the study of Christian Science I was a slave to aspirin and cathartics, and was very discontented and dissatisfied with every place and thing, and even with people. I am indeed grateful for the peace and calm confidence which come to me in striving to attain a better understanding of God and of man in His image and likeness.

I am very glad I have Christian Science to help me know that this material world and its conditions are unreal, and that God is now and always will be allpower.
