Who Waits on God
Who
waits on God waits not in vain,
His pilgrim path is sure;
For more of grace he shall attain,
And rest in Truth, secure.
Who waits on God can never fear,
Nor doubt the Father's care;
He knows that Love is ever near
To answer holy prayer.
Who waits on God must wiser grow
To guard his every thought
From error's darts. He fears no foe
When strength from Mind is sought.
Who waits on God true bliss shall find,
His gratitude increase,
For Love's bestowals, ever kind,
Bring harmony and peace.
Then wait on God with hymns of praise,
Look up into the light,
And prove how wondrous are His ways,
His laws how just and right.
