Christian Science Committee on Publication for Barbados, British West Indies, Reports

Only one reference to Christian Science needing correction appeared in the press during the past year. It was included in an address given during a convention of the Protestant churches, and, in the address on the Sacramental System, Christian Science was alluded to as "neither Christian nor scientific." The reply of this Committee was published willingly and clearly in the newspaper which reported the address.

We are grateful to report that our relations with the editors and their assistants are cordial, and many paragraphs announcing special services of our church or lecture broadcasts have been given prompt attention and advantageous positions in the papers.

The comforting messages from the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly have gone out each week in a very complete form, through three newspapers, and it has been only on rare occasions that they have been omitted by the smaller publications, generally because of lack of space for their church notices. The daily Advocate has not missed a single opportunity to print our excerpts, so that over one hundred and fifty-six of these healing messages have gone forth this year.
