"Am I my brother's keeper?"
The question, "Am I my brother's keeper?" concerns all of us, for many problems which involve our attitude toward our brother man are presenting themselves for solution.
Christian Science is a religion of love. Its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, says in the textbook. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 113): "The vital part, the heart and soul of Christian Science, is Love. Without this, the letter is but the dead body of Science,— pulseless, cold, inanimate."
So when problems arise and difficult situations present themselves, the Christian Scientist asks himself: "What would Love have me do about this? How shall I act in accord with Love's direction?" Then he turns to his books, the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's works, and there he finds what he needs. Having found the answer to his question, he sets to work to use what he has gleaned.
