It is with sincere gratitude that I am sharing this testimony with thousands of others who are witnesses to God's unfailing power to heal. A good many years have passed since I became interested in Christian Science. It was the healing of a patient who was a physical and mental wreck that made me look into its teachings. A year after this my mother had a remarkable healing of a complication of diseases within four days. Because I was a medical nurse this healing certainly was a proof to me of God's power to heal the sick. My mother enjoyed twenty-five years, during which Christian Science was her only remedy. She had many healings. My three-year-old nephew, who had taken strychnine by mistake, received an outstanding healing.

I myself have been wonderfully sustained in my work as a nurse, and have seen many cases healed under Christian Science treatment. In my early days I was healed of bichloride poisoning in one absent treatment. All pain disappeared after the treatment, and the next day new skin had formed where the other had been burned away.

One recent healing was a case of mental surgery. I had a tooth extracted, but part of the root remained, and after two weeks this was removed. At the time of the extraction a piece of the instrument which was used broke off. It was embedded in my gum, and could not be taken out. Several X rays were taken, and the dentist insisted on taking me to another dentist, who took more pictures. Both urged me to go to a hospital to have the piece of instrument taken out. I then took my stand for Christian Science and told them I would have Christian Science treatment. I released my dentist of all responsibilities and told him to read the ninety-first Psalm. The practitioner and I worked faithfully, and on the eleventh day I felt a point sticking up in the gum and at the end of that day it fell out. To me this was a remarkable healing and proof of God's power and care. Both dentists were amazed and rejoiced with me. I told one to look up Hebrews 4:12.
