Signs of the Times

The Light that Shines

Rev. J. Rolph Morden
Albertan, Calgary, Canada

May the afterglow of Christmas be made manifest in a decrease of doubts and fears and in an increase of all Christian attributes.

The light that shines at Christmas was meant not to become dim nor to be immediately extinguished, but to persist brilliant and luminous to pervade the succeeding year. The attitude of radiant joy, good will, and kindliness should persist when people return, as did the shepherds, to the everyday business of living and toiling. The future of the world depends on whether or not ... one's attitude to one's fellow men and to Christian church is transformed and becomes refulgent by the light from above.
