For the many blessings which...
For the many blessings which have come to me through Christian Science I wish to express my gratitude and to give my testimony of the healing power of Truth.
I became interested in Christian Science through the healing of my mother. Very early in the study of this subject I applied my own understanding of God's healing power, and was healed of scarlet fever in one night. I was permitted to return to my work without any loss of time. My father, who was a practicing physician and surgeon at this time, demanded a physical examination—to which I yielded—and medical treatment, which I refused. The healing was recognized, and the doctor said, "I will bother you no more."
Other healings I have had with the help of Christian Science are those of ptomaine poisoning, pleurisy, infected finger, dental trouble, and frequent sick headaches. I have also found employment through its ministry, and the desire for coffee has been overcome.
