I have been a student of Christian Science for over thirty years, and I should like to tell of some of the blessings I have experienced through its application.

I had not been studying the subject very long before an old nervous trouble, which I thought had been overcome some years previously, reappeared. Because I was not quickly healed I grew skeptical and, despairing of getting my healing, drifted away from the subject for a time. In my darkest hour I was met by a Christian Science practitioner, of whom I had sought help in the early days of my trouble. During our conversation he said, "I know that God is taking care of you." These words impressed me so much that I began to examine my thoughts. Here I was, believing that I was the most unhappy creature imaginable, but these words reversed my thinking. I began to see that, because God was taking care of me, these unhappy thoughts were no part of me, but their opposite was true. I was healed, and the condition has never returned. Since that time Christian Science has brought me through many trials.

One night I was distracted with neuralgia and, failing to meet the condition with my own understanding, I asked help of a practitioner. Then the pain left me. Later I had an attack of acute gastritis. Through the help of a faithful practitioner this also was overcome in about four days. A severe attack of appendicitis was next healed.
