I am grateful to God for His patient and loving care of me, and for giving us Christian Science; also for our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and her life of consecration and devotion to God's work, that we might receive this true understanding of God.

When I was in great need, a dear sister brought me Christian Science, for which I shall never cease to be grateful.

I have had many healings in Christian Science. One was of a serious injury to my side—broken ribs. The healing came through the reading of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and my own work. Also an injury to my foot was healed. I read Science and Health and the pain left almost at once, but I could not free myself from the feeling of having to be cautious; a few days later I again injured the foot. As I read and worked, the pain left, also the fear. A few days later I felt a distinct snap in the arch of my foot as though a bone had gone into place.
