Close Companionship with Love

MILDRED NICKERSON HALL

God's blessing rests on us this day,
Revealed in every loving deed;
This close companionship with Love
Shall amply satisfy our need.

This blessing makes us rich today
In fuller knowledge of our God;
It lights the narrow, steadfast way
Where all the faithful ones have trod.

God's blessing heals and brings deep joy,
Love's children have no cause for tears;
For gratitude, without alloy,
Gives well-won freedom from false fears.

Each day is filled with Love's sweet peace
As sunshine floods the noontide hour;
For us, the warfare's din shall cease
When we reflect God's loving power.
