It is with deep gratitude that I give my testimony of healing in Christian Science.

For many weeks I had been very ill with peritonitis, and under medical care. Finally, after a consultation of physicians, my family was told that there was no help for me, and that I could not live over three days.

My medical nurse then suggested that I try Christian Science. As she expressed it, "You have nothing to lose by trying this means of healing, for you cannot get well under medicine, and they say Christian Science heals." So my mother telephoned a friend who was a Christian Scientist and asked her to come to see me. She responded immediately, but before reaching our home, stopped at the office of a Christian Science practitioner to get some statement of Truth that she could bring to me. The practitioner said, "Tell her to rest in God, for she is His child, and He governs all."
