It is now over twenty years since I turned to Christian Science for help and received it. It never has failed me since.

It was our family's only physician for so-called children's diseases, which were all quickly overcome. When our daughter was four years old she fell downstairs, and, although no bad effects appeared at the time, in about three days she became paralyzed. A Christian Science practitioner was called who took up metaphysical work. Several weeks passed before the healing was manifested, but the restoration was complete, much to the astonishment of friends who are not Christian Scientists.

At a time when my husband was helpless and our home was about to be taken from us, a beautiful demonstration resulted from my clinging steadfastly to the second verse of the fourteenth chapter of John: "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." I realized that the Christ, Truth, had indeed gone before and had prepared a place for me and mine, a habitation which nothing could take away. Help came from a very unexpected source, and the home was saved, even after the notice of sale had been tacked on the house.
