A Morning Prayer
O God
, I thank Thee for this night of rest;
It was Thy truth that calmed my troubled breast.
All through the day Thy presence I will seek;
Thus shall my footsteps reach the mountain peak.
Help me to give to those I meet today
Some healing thought to guide them on their way;
And when the day is done, the duties o'er,
My heart to lift to Thee in praise once more.
