Your interesting editorial in a recent issue, entitled "Do It Right," has come to my attention, and, while it is factually correct, I feel that a further brief explanation would be helpful both to the medical profession and to the many Christian Scientists in the state.

Christian Scientists do not find themselves in accord with any action which would give to any group exclusive jurisdiction in regard to the treatment of certain diseases. There are well-substantiated records of the complete healing of these diseases by Christian Science treatment.

Christian Science practitioners in this state report every case of communicable disease listed in the New Jersey Sanitary Code that comes under their care. They comply faithfully with the law in all matters of required examinations and quarantine.
