Reminder for Clerks of Branch Church Organizations

In the interest of economy and efficiency the Clerk of The Mother Church will not, this year, write individually to the clerks of branch organizations concerning the church card which should be forwarded on February 1 of each year. Instead, through the columns of the Christian Science Sentinel we wish to call the attention of the clerks to the fact that the 1942 card is now due. Many cards for the year 1941 have not yet been received, and it will be appreciated if each clerk will check his records for that year and forward a card for 1941, if he has not yet done so.

The card in question calls for the names and addresses of principal officers and the membership figures as of February 1. Additional cards may be had on request.

Tenets of The Mother Church

The printed Tenets of The Mother Church are in general use by branch churches and societies, either as a basis for their application forms for admission to membership or for binding into their by-law booklets.

Because the Tenets are copyrighted, branch organizations may not have them printed for their own use. The correct procedure is to order from the Clerk of The Mother Church the quantity desired, and then have a local printer add whatever data are necessary to the individual requirements of the branch organizations.

The Tenets are printed in two sizes. The large size measures approximately 5 x 8 inches, and is generally used by the branch organizations as a basis for their membership blanks. The small size measures approximately 4 x 6 inches, and is used chiefly for binding into by-law booklets.

Translations of the Tenets, having alternate pages in English, may be procured in German, French, Italian, and Polish. Prices for Tenets, either for English or for translations, are as follows:

Lots of 100—either size $.75

Lots of 100—50 large and 50 small .75

Lots of 50—either size .50

Unless otherwise specified, the large size will be sent. Minimum orders are for lots of 50 Tenets.

Remittances should be made payable and sent with orders to Ezra W. Palmer, Clerk, 107 Falmouth Street, Boston, Massachusetts.
