What comfort comes to those who rely on God and learn that each day is a fresh opportunity to prove the Father's loving care for man! "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings," writes Mary Baker Eddy on page vii of the Preface to "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

God's blessings, ever available to mankind, should stir human consciousness from its lethargy and fear, and turn thought with faithful expectancy toward the divine source of all sufficiency and goodness. God sustains His creation, including man, in complete freedom, abundance, and harmony. Does man ever lack God's presence? Never; but mortals need to know more of His presence, power, and infinite goodness. As this spiritual understanding is gained through Christian Science, it will be recognized that God's omnipresence includes the presence of health, supply, activity, intelligence, freedom, and all good.

The false suggestions of mortal mind often try to make one trace his difficulties to some past misfortune, or else, looking to the future, try to make one fear by anticipating evil. This would tend to blind one to the blessings which God has for all today. God's blessings are always present, and they are not eliminated by one's fear; but His goodness is not seen while one is temporarily fearing evil. The eternality of God establishes the permanence of good. The omnipresence of God establishes the blessings available to men today and every day.
