Words fail to express the gratitude...

Words fail to express the gratitude I feel for Christian Science. I do not know how parents manage to bring up their children today, with any sense of security, without the help of its teachings.

I should like to tell of a few of the healings my little girl has received. Perhaps they will help some other mother as I have often been helped by similar testimonies.

At one time the child complained of a painful corn or callous on the ball of her foot. I ignored it, and, as the weeks went by, her feet became covered with these growths. Suddenly I realized that I had been foolishly ignoring the error, and I decided to have some work in Christian Science done for her. About a week later a friend mentioned a similar case of a child who was having very painful treatments in a hospital. I realized that I had not looked at my own child's feet all that week. When she undressed that night there was not a trace of the difficulty to be seen. The skin was as natural and smooth as if nothing had ever been there. I was not only grateful to have her rid of this painful and unsightly condition, but I was glad of the impression the healing made upon her. She was also healed of a hernia, which had been called to my attention after a required physical examination in school. I was told she should not join in any violent exercise. Work was done for her by a practitioner, and a year later, when the time came for the usual examination, there was not a trace of the trouble. During the year, she had gone on with all her athletic activities.
