Permit me on behalf of the Christian Scientists of Tennessee to thank you for your beautiful editorial concerning the timely message of The Christian Science Board of Directors which was read at the recent Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Slowly, but surely, the world is beginning to understand that the teaching of Christian Science serves as a bulwark against wrongdoing. Only as we see that right and might are synonymous can we overcome wrong by destroying it in our thinking, and not by merely suppressing it temporarily. This is a spiritual process, and as we learn it, the forces of evil will be vanquished. Nevertheless, this statement by Mary Baker Eddy (Science and Health, p. 224) will always remain true: "The power of God brings deliverance to the captive. No power can withstand divine Love."
