Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Province of British Columbia.

During the Committee year, fifteen lectures have been given in our Province and ten of them have been carried in full by newspapers. Forty-four newspapers in British Columbia publish our Lesson-Sermon excerpts from the Christian Science Quarterly or our weekly service, "Gems of Thought."

There are now sixty newspapers subscribing to The Christian Science Monitor on the advertising exchange basis, which is available to all newspapers. In renewing their subscriptions, editors frequently pay high tribute to our international daily newspaper. An editor in the interior wrote: "Many thanks for your letter. I enjoy reading the Monitor and quite appreciate its fine tone and lofty ideals. I should not like to be deprived of reading it regularly, as I gain much valuable thought and pleasure from it."
