During the time I have known of Christian Science, I have had much cause to be grateful. The blessings I have received through its teachings and study have been so numerous that I cannot refrain any longer from writing this testimony, expressing my profound gratitude to our Father-Mother God, the Giver of all good; to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who manifested so much wisdom and unselfed love in giving to the world her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," together with her other writings, and in establishing for us the Christian Science periodicals, which comfort and help us so wonderfully in spiritual growth.

For years I suffered from a severe case of hernia. With the help of a practitioner I was completely healed in two treatments. This was over ten years ago, and the healing has been permanent. Over eight years ago I was healed of the cigarette habit of many years' standing, and during my study and application of this wonderful truth, I have also been healed of sick headaches.

In addition to the many physical healings received in Christian Science, I am particularly grateful for the loving protection I have had. Many times have I experienced the unquestionable proof of God's protective care.
